Setting Up A Blog For Affiliate Marketing – The Sequel

This is the new version of my infamous video about setting up a blog for affiliate marketing. The old version has over 86000 views and is 3 years old. It needed to be redone. In this video, you’ll find the exact steps to take, resources and tools to use, and a traffic strategy that simply can’t go wrong. Here are links to the resources mentioned in the video: Socrates theme – mustclickhere.com Logo Nerds – logonerds.com Fiverr – http THE Web Traffic Book – thewebtrafficbook.com Traffic Magnet – http My blog – ross-goldberg.com

No, it’s not a link wheel. Link wheels stink (if you use the strategy that most people teach). They do not work. Instead, create authority blogs that actually help people on different related, but different topics.

Thank you for the overview. Your “blog syndicate” starting at 9:12 looks a lot like a “link wheel.” Is it the same strategy?

@wealthmaster48 That’s perfectly normal. Don’t worry, there isn’t anything funky in the software and it won’t hurt your computer.

Ross, this is awesome information. I’m a newbie as far as affiliate marketing goes, and I really appreciate the info. Will check out your other resources. btw, why do I get a warning popup on the download page of your spinner software? says it will access my files and internet and may compromise my computer. seems rather strange. Is this normal? I’m using Windows XP and Firefox.

@movieman4ever You can use Blogger if you want. I prefer WordPress for the control and even when I recorded the original, I used wordpress most of the time. Blogger blogs can be taken down at any time for any reason, so I prefer to guarantee that my site stays live and working for me.

Your first video used Blogger, a free blog. This one talks about buying a hosting plan. Why did you drop Blogger in your video tutorial? I like free.

I don’t have anything yet on that topic, I’ll consider putting something together.
